Meet Ms. Wilson

Welcome to the Art Room!

My name is Ms. Tiffany Wilson, and I am the art teacher at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary in Lancaster, PA.  I am very excited to begin my third year with School District of Lancaster.

I have had past student teaching experiences in School District of Lancaster (Wheatland Middle School, and Washington Elementary), as well as volunteer teaching experiences abroad in Faridabad, India slum schools and Angeles de Medellin in Colombia.  I have also taught English as a Second Language as a volunteer at Lancaster Library.

Before teaching art,  I spent 5 years working with Before and After School programs, and 4 years mentoring for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lancaster.  I received my Bachelor's in Art Education from Millersville University, and an Associates in Design from Harrisburg Area Community College.

Why is art important?

As does music and literature @Lori Bearden Bearden Collins-Kaylor Made me think of you and all the other wonderful art teachers I know :):
